How to Care for Fabric and Teak

Routine Maintenance of Fabric
- Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning; avoid harsh detergents.
- Consider annual professional cleaning for optimal maintenance.
Spot Treatment
- Immediately blot spills. Avoid rubbing and use recommended cleaners.
- Dust or lightly vacuum regularly to prevent damage.
Routine Maintenance of Teak
- Sponge product with the foam of a mild water and dishwashing liquid mixture. Over time, the timber absorbs the soap, building a natural resistance to marks. This treatment does not guarantee against stains.
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Avoid letting water stand on the surface of teak furniture.
- Natural temperature changes may cause slight movement. Fine cracks, knots and tonal variation are part of the timber’s natural character.
Important to Note
Exposure to sunlight, UV and heat can cause fading, discolouration and damage to the upholstery. Teak has an abundance of natural oils, making it durable and suitable for outdoor conditions.
