• Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade natural fibres. If your thypa basket is in a sunny location, consider rotating it occasionally to ensure even exposure.
• While thypa baskets are often sturdy, it\’s advisable to handle them with care to prevent breakage or damage. Avoid putting excessive weight on the basket or overloading it.
• Refrain from using harsh cleaning chemicals or detergents, as they can damage the natural fibres. Stick to mild, natural cleaners if needed.
•If the thypa basket loses its shape, you can reshape it by dampening the fibres slightly and gently reshaping the basket. Allow it to air-dry in the reshaped form.
•Regularly dust the basket using a soft brush or cloth to remove surface dirt and dust.
For a deeper clean, you can use a slightly damp cloth, but avoid soaking the basket.
•Natural fibers, including those used in baskets, can be sensitive to moisture. Keep the basket away from damp or humid conditions to prevent mold and mildew.
