How to Care for Marble and Steel
Crafted to last, our curated collection of tables has been intentionally selected to tell the story of craft and longevity. Below are a few guidelines to ensure your piece retains its inert characteristics and continues to tell the story of your home:
Routine Maintenance of Marble
- Dust regularly with a soft cloth
- Do not rub, scratch or scour.
- Protect from acidic substances such as wine, coffee and fruit juice.
- Wipe off liquids immediately and rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
- Do not leave any oily products on the stone.
- Always use coasters on marble tabletops.
Routine Maintenance of Steel
- Dust regularly and do not rub, scratch or scour.
- Wash the surface with warm, soapy water and a lint-free cloth or soft sponge. If the product is in a seawater environment, do this weekly as salt deposits can damage the finish.
- Avoid letting water stand on the surface of your furniture.
Important to Note
Knots, splits, cracks and colour variations are part of the natural characteristics of timber; variations in the natural veining and colouration of marble, making each piece completely unique. Steel can rust if the powder coating has been damaged or chipped.
