How to care for Leather:
- Do not use artificial heat or harsh sunlight to dry leather furniture. This will cause the leather to become dry and crack.
- Our leathers do not require any hide food.
- Plump and aerate cushions regularly to maintain shape.
- Reverse and rotate cushions to ensure even wear.
- Dress seams to keep them aligned and neat.
- Immediately blot spills; avoid rubbing and use recommended cleaners.
- Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning; avoid harsh detergents.
- Dust or lightly vacuum regularly to prevent damage.
- Consider annual professional cleaning for optimal maintenance.
- Avoid washing slip covers in the machine; opt for professional cleaning.
Important to note:
Leather is a natural material with unique markings like creases, scars, and insect bites, which are not defects but part of its individuality. Different sections of the hide may have varying colours and grains. As leather is used, it stretches and may develop wrinkles or dents, especially on larger panels. These qualities are celebrated rather than hidden.
