The Weylandts Customer Loyalty Programme is operated by Weylandts Furniture Cape Town (Pty) Ltd, registration number 1998/0216/1107.
By joining the Weylandts Loyalty Programme, a member has agreed to these terms and conditions, as amended or replaced by Weylandts from time to time. Any person who does not agree to be bound by the Weylandts Loyalty Programme Terms and Conditions may not participate in the Weylandts Loyalty Programme.
How The Loyalty Programme Works
Our Loyalty Programme is offered to our customers as a thank you for your continued loyalty and support. Please be advised that if you are classified as a Decorator with us, you will not be able to join the Loyalty Programme.
In order to become a Loyalty Member, please fill in and complete the Loyalty Member form which can be found in-store, alternatively on you’re My Account page you will find Weylandts Loyalty Programme sign up.
A Loyalty Member will earn points equivalent to three percent (3%) on any qualifying purchase, including VAT, but excluding any delivery charges. Please see our list of excluded purchases which do not earn points below.
Loyalty can be earned via e-commerce and retail store spend.
Only a valid member making purchases in-store or online will be awarded points.
In order to keep Loyalty Members notified of their benefit points, Weylandts will SMS points earned on a current sale to the member, in addition to making the member’s points balance available online or by enquiry in-store.
Use Of Loyalty Points
The value of points accumulated on a member’s Loyalty profile can be used for payment of purchases at Weylandts stores countrywide. Please note that the value of the points cannot be used for payment online. Items purchased through points redeemed may not be returned for cash.
Weylandts Loyalty programme points or rewards cannot be exchanged for cash.
The Weylandts loyalty membership and rewards accruing thereto are not transferable. Weylandts Loyalty programme rewards will accrue to the member only.
Points earned through unauthorised use of the Loyalty Programme will not be honoured. In the event of any abuse or fraud being committed by a person in respect of the Loyalty Programme and/or conduct involving the abuse of points or rewards, Weylandts reserves the right to take appropriate action against the responsible person and all points accrued and unredeemed points and rewards issued may be forfeited.
Weylandts reserves the right to suspend any Weylandts Loyalty member’s profile should the account remain inactive for any period longer than two years or such period as may be determined by Weylandts.
Weylandts reserves the right to make certain products exempt from the earning of loyalty points.
At present the Loyalty Programme does not apply to the following:
- Products which are currently under Promo, Sale or in our Bargain Basement;
- Delivery costs;
- Certain products including wine, mattresses and SMEG products.
Please be advised that this list may updated from time to time by Weylandts without prior notification.
Persons applying to join the Weylandts Loyalty Programme must provide a valid identity document number (or passport number if not a South African resident), a valid cellphone number and email address. Weylandts reserves the right to decline to register a person and/or redeem any benefit.
Weylandts Loyalty Programme Members have the right, in accordance with the relevant information, to obtain access to his/her personal information held by Weylandts; to request the correction, destruction or deletion of his/her personal information held by Weylandts; and to object to the processing of his/her personal information. In the case of the Weylandts Loyalty Programme Member objecting to the capture and processing of his/her personal information, such person’s Weylandts Loyalty Membership will be terminated.
It is the Weylandts Loyalty member’s responsibility to inform Weylandts of any changes to his/her personal information.
Member data and personal information is protected in terms of the relevant legislation.
