Saanvi Indian Naga Table

The vintage Saanvi Indian Naga Table originated from Nagaland, carries over seven decades of utility. Once embedded into the ground, its carved hollows were used to grind spices by hand, each marking a record of repetition, rhythm, and daily life. Formed from a single piece of wood, its solidity is both structural and symbolic, speaking to a time where objects were made to endure with purpose.

A relic of ritual, reimagined as a table – raw, grounded, and deeply tactile. The worn indentations and irregular surface create a natural interplay of shadow and form, offering a sense of history that cannot be replicated. Each piece is entirely unique, shaped by time rather than design.
