How to Care for Iron and Glass

Routine Maintenance of Iron
- Wipe regularly with a slightly damp soft cotton cloth to remove dust and surface dirt.
- Dry immediately with a clean cloth to prevent moisture from sitting on the surface.
Spot Treatment
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads to clean spots and spills, as these can damage the finish.
- Immediately blot spills to avoid moisture penetration.
Routine Maintenance of Glass
- Dust regularly and wipe with a slightly damp cloth.
- Do not rub, scrub or scour.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, strong detergents, or ammonia-based cleaners.
- Dry with a clean, lint-free cloth to prevent watermarks.
- For a streak-free finish, polish gently with newspaper or a microfiber cloth.
Important to Note
Iron is not rust proof. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, humidity, and outdoor elements. Glass is fragile and can crack, chip or break if mishandled. Changes in temperatures and humidity can also cause expansion and contraction of glass resulting in cracks.
