How to Care for Marble and Jute
Crafted to last, our curated collection of dolomite and marble has been intentionally selected to tell the story of craft and longevity. Below are a few guidelines to ensure your piece retains its inert characteristics and continues to tell the story of your home:
Routine Maintenance of Marble
- Dust regularly with a soft cloth
- Do not rub, scratch or scour.
- Protect from acidic substances such as wine, coffee and fruit juice.
- Wipe off liquids immediately and rinse with a clean, damp cloth.
- Do not leave any oily products on the stone.
Routine Maintenance of Jute
Dust regularly with a soft cloth of feather duster.
For deeper cleaning, wipe gently with a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners to protect the natural fibres.
Keep away from moisture and humidity.
Ensure the light is switched off and cool before cleaning.
Important to Note
Variations in the natural veining and colouration make each piece of marble unique. Natural stone is porous and susceptible to marking and stains. Avoid placing light in direct sunlight, in front of, or directly under windows.
