The Lobéké Sculpture is a celebration of craft, patience, and the natural world. Handmade in a Javanese village, it begins with dried palm leaves that are woven and individually cut using a leaf-shaped mould. Each piece is then framed in rattan, strung together with seagrass rope, and fixed to a wooden stem, an intricate process that transforms raw material into layered, sculptural form.

How to care for Raffia (Natural plant fibres):
