How to Care for Rope
Crafted to last, our curated collection of rope has been intentionally selected to tell the story of craft and longevity. Below are a few guidelines to ensure your piece retains its inert characteristics and continues to tell the story of your home:
Routine Maintenance
- Apply a mist of soapy water with a water spray bottle and work the solution into the rope with a soft cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Blot and use slight pressure. Do not rub as this will loosen the fibres and abrade the rope.
- Rinse lightly if necessary, allow rope to dry completely before storing or using.
Important to Note
Exposure to extreme weather conditions can cause fading, discolouration and fibre brittleness over time.
