How to Care for Aluminium
Crafted to last, our curated collection of mirrors has been intentionally selected to tell the story of craft and longevity. Below are a few guidelines to ensure your piece retains its inert characteristics and continues to tell the story of your home:
Routine Maintenance of Aluminium
- Clean with a damp, soft cloth and neutral cleaning agent.
- Do not scour.
- Avoid letting water stand on or around the product.
- If aluminium is in a saltwater climate, rinse off and wash with soap weekly to remove all salt, as salt deposits can damage the finish
- Excessive force or dragging may bend aluminium frames.
Routine Maintenance of Mirrors
- Wipe with a soft cloth. DO NOT use scour pads.
- Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Use a non-abrasive glass cleaner or warm water with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Use newspaper to polish the glass and prevent streaking.
Important to Note
Handle with care. Exposure to humid conditions might cause greenish deposits on the surface. This can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
