Crafted in collaboration with The Mill and StudioLandt, this collection is inspired by the sociable weaver’s nests in Namibia. Patiently woven from grasses and twigs, built layer by layer to shelter entire colonies, these nests are suspended in trees and shaped by both instinct and environment.

Woven from unaltered, reclaimed Swakara wool that has been turned into felt – a process that is centuries old and still used – these works are regenerative, sustainable, and small-scale, honouring both resourcefulness and the terrain that inspired them. The Ombu Artwork exists as both artwork and textile, grounded in place and community.
