On the island of Sulawesi (formerly known as Celebes), Indonesia, chunky off-cuts of teak wood are used to make fences. After enduring harsh weather conditions for decades, these palisades are marked with a rustic, engraved look. These logs are reclaimed after they are discarded. These fences turned furniture exude unparalleled class and style to accentuate slick minimalistic interiors for the more rustic looking homes. The reclaimed teak wood in the Celebes collection rightfully earned its badge of toughness and rusticity.
Wipe wood daily with a cotton cloth to remove dust. Do not use abrasive cleaner as this will damage the protective lacquer coating. Sponge with a mild solution of water and soap (dish washing liquid). Using mostly the foam is recommended. Over time the wood will absorb more of the soap making the furniture repellent to marks and staining. These care suggestions however may not be considered as a guarantee against stains.
