For indoor use, please insert a plastic liner before filling with sand or water as the product is treated but not 100% waterproof.

In a time where shortage of raw material and air pollution have become a "big issue", we have decided to build our pottery in a way as eco-friendly as possible, without detracting from the demands of our consumer society concerning quality and consistency. Combining clays, sands and cements and applying long forgotten building techniques, we have come to a new kind of composite.

This composite enables us to drop entirely the polluting baking procedure and to make our production much more environmentally friendly. Another challenge was to control the weight issue, for which we have addressed a number of contemporary sources. Nevertheless, building this product remains a very labour intensive activity. In order to emphasize the ornamental aspect of our collections, we use aqueous cold-glazes that contribute to the specific look of our product, and eliminate an extra baking procedure. Altogether, we have managed to create an ecological "light weight " composite.
