Hanging Lamps

This highly unique lamp is completely hand made by cutting a loofah into round slices, thus revealing the web-like structure. The slices are then put together and lighted, creating a light pattern reminiscent of stained glass when hit by the rays of the sun. The Loofah honours the return of the Natural & Organic look. This Eco-friendly lamp will be an elegant lighting fixture that is sure to be a conversation piece. Also available in a Natural finish.

Designed by famous designer Vallario Padilla, who has accumulated more than 50 design awards. He started his career as an industrial designer in 1979, after graduating from a bachelor's College degree in Fine Arts at the University Of Santo Tomas, Manila (the oldest university in the world). His first job with then Design Center of the Philippines, gave him the opportunity to be one of the first Furniture Designer in the country. Mr Padilla was trained by many famous International Industrial designers namely, Gerd Schuessler of Germany, Frank Sander of Germany, Paola Navonne of Italy, Chyie Oshima of Japan, Philip Cutler of United States to name a few. At present he has accumulated more than 50 Design awards for Best Product Design, Best Booth Design, Best Product Collection, Best Booth design or Best in Visual Merchandising. Padilla is also a Design consultant for Foreign Island resort developers.
