Wipe daily with a cotton cloth to remove dust. Avoid harsh soaps and chemicals. Sponge with a mildsolution of water and soap (dish washing liquid). Using mostly the foam is recommended. This soapy solution will give the surface a patina in the old-fashioned way. Over time the wood will absorbmore of the soap making the furniture repellent to marks and staining. These care suggestions however may not be considered as a guarantee against stains.
